These Terms and Conditions apply to the VOID virtual reality experiences (the “Experience”), located at The VOID at Westfield London, Ariel Way, Shepherds Bush, London, W12 7GF and the VOID, Westfield Stratford City, Montfichet Road, Olympic Park, London, E20 1EJ
The Experience is a location-based virtual reality entertainment experience and simulator that allows participants to interact with the virtual environment. Activities include elevation changes, touching structures and objects, and experiencing vibrations, air pressure, cold and heat, moisture, simulated liquids and smells in a virtual environment.
If you have a medical condition or disability that may be impacted by the Experience, it is strongly recommended that you consult with your physician before participating.
Some participants may suffer from a loss of balance, headaches, locomotor system pain, dizziness, problems caused by jets of air, fog effects or scents, and in extraordinary cases, epilepsy-like symptoms, during or after the Experience.
For your own safety, the Experience may not suitable for:
- Persons who suffer from high blood pressure, heart conditions, back or neck conditions, epilepsy, or any type of medical condition affecting the senses of smell, vision, or hearing.
- The elderly.
- Persons with disabilities.
- Persons who are blind or visually impaired.
- Persons with sensitivities to scent, loud noises, or flashing lights.
- Pregnant women.
- Persons suffering from breathing or respiratory problems, such as allergies or scent sensitivities.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.
- Persons prone to motion sickness.
- Persons under the age of 10.
- Persons under 4′ (122cm) tall.
If you are accompanying a minor (Under 18 years old), you are solely responsible for their compliance with these guidelines. It is your responsibility to inform them about the rules and be available at the experience location throughout the experience.
You are participating in the Experience at your own risk. You have read and acknowledge these Terms and Conditions and have had an opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns with employees or representatives of The VOID. By signing below, you expressly accept the risks associated with the Experience.
You represent and warrant that you are in good mental and physical health and have had no medical or health issues or problems that might interfere with, or otherwise indicate that you should not participate in the Experience, and you know of no other reason (medically-related or otherwise) why you should not participate in the Experience.
Pre booked participants must arrive at the experience ticketing desk 10 minutes prior to the time printed on the ticket.
Payments for tickets are non-refundable and tickets may only be changed or replaced at the absolute discretion of the Operator.
Children under the age of 18 must attend the experience with a parent or guardian.
All persons visiting The VOID must pay for admission prior to participating in the experience. Tickets must be retained at all times and submitted for inspection if required by any employee or agent of the Operator.
All visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and / or their belongings to be searched.
Smoking is strictly prohibited within all areas.
No ticket may be resold.
The VOID will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that the experience is open for use by visitors during normal opening hours. However, the Operator reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons, mechanical breakdown or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close the experience or any part of it. In the event of such closure the Operator will refund to any visitor whose booking is cancelled, the cost of his or her prepaid ticket, but otherwise shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of the experience, or cancellation of any booking.
Other than liability for death or personal injury resulting from the Operators negligence, the Operator, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising, including without limitation any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any visit undertaken.
The VOID is operated by Continuum (Entertainment) Ltd.
From time to time the Operator or other authorised parties may carry out photography and / or video recording and / or other monitoring on or in the vicinity of the experience, which may feature visitors. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that the Operator or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with the Operator or such authorised party (as the case may be).
These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English law, and any claim brought under these conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Law.
You acknowledge that you have had an adequate opportunity to read and consider the Terms and Conditions.
